The Arizona Spinal Cord Injury Association (AzSCIA) is a nonprofit organization that enhances the lives of those living with spinal cord injuries by promoting physical, intellectual, emotional and social recovery.
The Arizona Governor's Council on Spinal and Head Injuries provides support for the Association. This support, along with that from other sources, enables AzSCIA to:
- Offer peer and family support to individuals with spinal cord injuries,
- Educate consumers, caregivers, and professionals,
- Connect families and consumers with services and resources,
- Involve people with SCI and their families in social activities, adaptive sports and fitness, and other community connections.
The Arizona Spinal Cord Injury Association is a chapter of the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation.
